Playing with others offers some significant advantages, but it also impacts gameplay in a few noteworthy ways. Why go into battle alone when you can bring your friends? If they’re playing Diablo III, they’ll receive an invite, and if they accept it, they’ll enter your game. In-game, open your Social menu, find the friend you’d like to invite, and click the "Invite to Party" button next to their name. You can also ask people you know to accompany you on a quest. While playing Diablo III, you can make your game public by opening the Game Menu with "ESC" and choosing “Open Game to Public”). If you’re already playing by yourself and you’d like to invite others to join your game, it’s simple. Set your own status in the drop-down menu in the upper left corner of the window, letting other players know whether you’re available for a game or busy! Inviting Friends You can also invite them to join your game from this window by clicking the "Invite to Party" button. Click on a friend’s name to highlight them, and then click the "Chat" button to send them a message. Once you’ve added a friend, you’ll see their status (whether they’re online or offline, and whether they’re free or busy) in this pane. You can add friends to this list by entering their e-mail or BattleTag into the display box. When the window is open (default key “O”), you’ll see a list of your friends displayed in the center of the pane. At a glance, it shows how many of your friends are online. In-game, your social window (the small human symbol in the lower right corner of your screen), is a gateway to interacting with other people playing Diablo III. Invite or chat with your friends through the social menu. It displays the clan’s preferred language, whether the clan is actively recruiting, and permissions for each of the clan’s ranks. Settings: The Settings tab is visible to all members but can only be modified by clan officers.As you scroll through the list of members, the bottom of this tab will update itself showing the hero each member is playing.
